The re-re-refresh

So I wiped everything out, and I'm starting anew with Soundsmitten.com. Why? I
feel like I've lapsed again on posting regularly, and I don't think my posts
have much value. Also, I'm using the Typed.com CMS. Even
though I still have a VPS, using a highly customized Kirby 2 blog caused me to
fiddle endlessly with appearance and performance and became a barrier to getting
words on the page. Typed.com is an expensive service for what it is, but I
recently switched from Linode back to Digital Ocean, which saves me 20 bucks a
month (so it's still a \$10 savings per month!). At this point, I don't care
that I have Ubuntu instead of Arch Linux on my VPS. The BBEdit post might come
back as a continuously-updated article because I love all text editors and I
like to give my take on being productive (and having fun) with them.
