Kapeli Incident Followup

Yesterday, iMore came out with Kapeli developer Bogdan Popescu’s side of the story.

Bogdan’s mother was the owner of the second linked account. She ended up acquiring Bogdan’s old apps so he could concentrate exclusively on Dash. Bogdan was trying to protect his mother from press scrutiny, but he decided to volunteer the information because everyone was digging into the story.

This doesn’t excuse anything, and I still think that Bogdan sabotaged himself, but it’s a fascinating wrinkle in the saga.
